*happy I have a Digital Rebel dance!*
Aug. 2nd, 2005 09:20 pmMy new camera came today!!
Also, my pink mystery flowers bloomed today.
So I took a picture of them.
stoney321, oh Master Gardener Goddess that you are... What is this??
It's a thick straight stalk with several flowers all clustered on top.

The pictures are kinda dark because it was getting dark when I took them.
Camera comparisons:
The maximum zoom on my Canon G3 Point & Shoot:

The maximum zoom on my new Canon Rebel XT using my 70-300mm lens (blurry because of slow shutter speed though...)

Date: 2005-08-03 05:44 am (UTC)The little old lady we bought our house from didn't know what they were & also said that she hadn't planted them, they just appeared one year.
If I were to cut one of those stalks to put the flowers in a vase, would that affect the plant, or would it come back next year just fine?
