About blood??
This comes from a discussion with a friend about how few people on the Lost island actually knew their blood type. Because I know mine I just assumed it was common knowledge for people until I discovered that hellbob didn't know his. Not only do I know my blood type, but I also know hellbobs, and I know my father is AB, but don't know if it is positive or negative.

At the Science Museum, there's a scale that when one stands on it, a big cylinder filled with what I think must be corn syrup and coloring fills up to represent the approximate amount of blood in the person being weighed. I've got some to spare.

Also, it occurs to me that I know both of my parent's blood types but I don't remember my daughter's. I knew it, but have forgotten. Betcha that's going to be important again someday.
