stoney321 posted pictures of herself & then told the rest of us to do the same. So, behind the cut is a bit of my life!July, 1970. I started out pretty cute, didn't I?

Here I am studying the arctic foxes at the Minnesota Zoo the summer between my Junior & Senior year. (Alopex lagopus in case you are wondering, Stoney)

Date: 2005-03-14 07:16 am (UTC)Every summer they took 8-10 high school students & you learned about animal behavior & such, and we each picked an animal to study. Then at the end of the summer we wrote a report & presented our research & findings, along w/slides, to family, friends, and zoo staff. I found out after picking the arctic foxes that they were breeding a tiger that year & were gonna have cubs. If I had known I would have done a tiger project just for the chance to help with tiger feedings and/or weighings!
It was a fun way to spend the summer, and the Minnesota Zoo was (and still is) an excellent zoo. I love my zoo membership. :)
