Critters

No pictures because they were all too far away/too small. In the week or so, e my critter sightings at work, besides the usual mallard ducks and flying, pooping vermin are as follows:
Snapping turtle
woodchuck
great blue heron
white egret
cardinal
garter snake (twice as big as the ones that were inside!)
and there were duck type birds in the pond this morning but they were on the far side so we couldn't tell what they were. They were just definitely not mallards because they moved different, and they weren't hooded mergansers, because the male didn't have the big white feather 'fro going on.
Also, besides seeing the woodchuck, I also discovered the location of his burrow, so now I can stalk him!

Don't tell dad! He'll come feed it...

I like the location of our new house. I've seen deer 3 times now, and today a pheasant crossed the road right in front of me. All the parkland and the lake make for great wildlife.
