Does my moose picture a few posts back look really dark to y'all? Cuz it looks fine on Chiana and super super dark on my computer at work. And since my work computer is a POS I am not so inclined to believe it, although the pic could be somewhere in between the two...

looks pretty dark to me too, and I have my contrast *waaay* up. Or down. It looks darker than it ought to though. But then I'm on a PC. If that makes a difference?

We've determined that it isn't a mac/pc issue, but rather an LCD/regular moniter issue.
And everything looks beautiful on Chiana! :)

It's pretty dark. That happens, though, if you don't have your LCD adjusted for creating graphics on normal monitors. Things will look fine on an LCD screen, but they'll look muddy and dark on anything else.

Go to your system preferences and check out the displays settings.

The moose pic looks fine, though it's dark at the top. Thanks for the links to the cat story and the gay apocalypse. I particularly like the god-hates-shrimp bit. :) OMG- Shawn thought I was about to start having asthma. I'm getting over a cold, so I sound funny right now.

Maybe I'm just easily amused. Life could be worse.

Oh, I meant to ask you. When you lived in Fargo,did you hear about the couple who channels the ghost of John Lennon? And composes horrible music? They were on Jimmy Kimmel a couple weeks back. I figure when a California audience laughs at you, you've got problems. And this audience did laugh. As they should- these folks have problems.
