My cousin put out a call for help for one of my local schools:

They are trying to get postcards from as many of the 50 states and countries around the world as they can. If you could send a post card I know they would be thrilled!

Here is the address:
Students of Robbinsdale M.S.
C/O IBMYP
3730 Toledo Ave N.
Robbinsdale MN 55422
USA

I'm trying to think of all the countries y'all are in.
[livejournal.com profile] felisblanco or [livejournal.com profile] verav, it would be really awesome if one of you could send them an Iceland one.
[livejournal.com profile] dakegra, got a spare England postcard lying around?
[livejournal.com profile] ltlpengy, I think you're the only Australian I've got wandering around in here. Note to self, acquire more Australians & Brits, cuz their accents are awesome!
[livejournal.com profile] 30toseoul, I'd totally be hitting you up for one if your Post Office wasn't going to be closed for another 6 months! I love all my LJ peeps, but you definitely have the coolest address (no pun intended)

They're also looking for different states too, so really, any of you minions can feel free to send one. Except you [livejournal.com profile] chebutykin. The qualification is that they are from outside of Robbinsdale!

We did this for my niece, and picked some of the choicer state things to write on the back, like state marine mammal, or state folk dance.

I've got several Pennsylvania Postcards I could send them, but the postmark would say "Saint Louis Park."

Should I still send?

Do they want postcards specific to where we are from?

I'd love to do this for your cousin.

I've left a message on the postcrossing forum!

Postcrossing is a grass-roots project started by Paulo Magalhães when he was in Portugal (now in Slovenia); the goal of Postcrossing to allow people to receive postcards from all over the world, for free (almost). The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world. So basically, it justs costs you the price of a postcard and its international postage. Click on the URL below:
