I got another email from the american family association (afa). It's a poll on whether or not open and practicing homosexuals, bisexual and transgenders should be allowed to serve in the military.

Gosh, a poll hosted on their website isn't going to be biased, is it?

And the results when I voted? yeah, slightly biased seeing as they are soliciting votes from the bigoted people that they know will say no.




I just can't even imagine living with that much hatred for another group of people. It's just really freaking sad.

You would think.
The emails I get from this group just make me sad. I've decided that rather than unsubscribing I'll use them to tell me which companies are doing the right thing. If the AFA wants to ban them they are either supporting gay rights, or they are supporting the separation of church and state. Both are things I also support. If the AFA stands behind a company or organization they probably have a core philosophy I don't agree with.

I'm guessing that's not how they meant for their horrible hateful emails to be used. :)

I get the same mails, and use them for the same purpose, thus my new boycot of Pepsico (plus I wrote Pepsi a letter).
