Antarctica update:
I didn't manage to rally enough votes. I ended up in about 22nd place or so, and that dude in the lead had over 11,000 votes. I guess having a radio show to pimp for votes daily helps a little.
Thank you all who voted for me & posted about it to try to get me votes! I really appreciate all of you!!! Since I've got my passport applied for now, I have decided that I am going to continue to look for opportunities online to win a trip to travel SOMEWHERE!
For Antarctica, I have switched to Plan B, which was a different contest. This one was from worldnomads.com and the prize is a photo scholarship in Antarctica with a National Geographic photographer. I wrote about that and posted the pictures I entered over at my Frozen Sharon blog: HERE
