Twin Cities peeps! Help!
Mar. 2nd, 2009 11:00 amAs I'm sure you all know, I'm in my final year of school for my Graphic Design degree. The graduating students put together the end-of-year portfolio show and are responsible for all the planning and work.
Well today we got the bad news that the school pulled the $4000 they had agreed to give us. This is a large part of our already tight budget. In addition to cutting printing costs as much as possible, we will be looking for other ways to save money.
One of these ways is food. This is where y'all come in.
Do any of you work at a restaurant or a food provider who would be willing to donate food? We're looking for finger food types of things for the guests to snack on after viewing the show. If any of you can help, or if you have ideas of companies known to donate such things, could you please let me know?
chebutykin, does GM like to donate to schools?

Date: 2009-03-02 07:05 pm (UTC)The web site for last year's show is here: http://www.pivot2008.com/index.php?pg=home
This year the show will be held on May 5th & 6th. We're actually the largest portfolio class the school has ever graduated. The standard setup is student's displays in two rooms and a third room for socializing with food for the guests. We will be displaying some kind of acknowledgment of everyone who has made a donation.
Thank you thank you thank you!!
