xkcd is a webcomic that is mainly stick figures, very minimalistic, very little color used, and way super cool awesomely wicked funny!

These are the last two cartoons posted. The first one made me laugh, and the second one made me smile even though it put that damned song BACK in my head!! (and for those of you who haven't seen the commercial/heard the Discovery Channel song, HERE IT IS)

I guess I'm lucky, not knowing that song. :)

I just put a link up there *points to post* to the YouTube of the Discovery Channel ad the comic is based on!

I thought for a second that you were saying you'd just discovered XKCD. Then I realised that I was being silly.

How can anyone *not* love XKCD?

Exactly! I don't like to think that there are folks on my flist who haven't discovered the awesomeness of it yet, but I'm afraid there may be 1 or 2.

I actually did not know about XKCD until a few days ago, I know, I know, but I am not a comics person.

As you might remember I am a lover of the Discovery Channel commercial and I now have the youtube link bookmarked. Beautiful. I laughed out loud, not just a LOL when I read this clip, I laughed. I kind of hope that the other place I found the comic has clued a lot more people in, and you, too. :) I am a dork, but not often a clued in dork. keep it coming. Thanks.

edited for spelling, and I should edit for grammar, but eh, deal. I also realize this makes no sense other than rock on. Hey HZ, rock on! *devil horns*

I am such a dork. /cringe

Count me as another one who didn't know the Discovery Channel commercial or the comic. I watch almost everything from my DVR and my beloved DOES NOT stop for commercials, even if they look interesting. I can't even identify the theme songs of most of the shows we watch together because he speeds past show intros, too.

As for the comic, I have to isolate myself from such things. If I added webcomics to all my other "must-read" sites, I'd be divorced. As it is, I probably spend as much time on the internet as a WoW junkie and I don't even get around to the videogames.

(BTW, thanks for visiting my blog!)
