Is Sunday? Weekend is almost over? :(

Well, as y'all saw by Friday's post, I do have a hellbob back in Minnesota safe and sound where he belongs! Moose is also home and doesn't appear to have gotten into any trouble in Boston. I have pictures. I may get around to posting them at some point.

After properly welcoming Hellbob home on Friday we went out to dinner. I was really excited to see, and Hellbob really didn't care at all, that there was a peregrine falcon back on the Colonnade building this year! It may or may not be this one:

Yesterday we went to the cheap theater to see Jumper. Not a brilliant movie, but it was fun.

After the movie I was off to the Staring Lake Outdoor Center in Eden Prairie with lablynne to meet up with BirdChick who was leading a trip to check out woodcock mating flights! It wasn't nearly as dirty as it sounds but it was pretty darn cool! Besides the cool birds, I got to spend time with the super cool lablynne who I don't see often enough. She just recently got a digital Rebel and so wants tips on learning to use it so we've been hatching plans to go out to area parks to shoot bird pictures.

Today has been a very lazy day. I slept in, then spent another hour or two laying in bed just reading. Now I'm watching tv, reading the interwebs, and trying to convince my brain that I don't have a headache coming on. I think it may be a lack of caffeine because I haven't had any today. If it is caffeine headache it isn't nearly as bad as it could be though because I've been cutting back for the last few weeks. I did take one of the headache pills by doc prescribed, as a preventative measure to keep the headache from getting worse. Seems to be holding it at bay. Oh, and Lynne, the drug she prescribed was Fioricet.

When I quit caffeine I had a headache for about a month. it was shitty. Not to try and dissuade you, but it was not fun, no siree.

Luckily I only have them for a day or two when I quit caffeine. I plan to survive by drugging the hell out of myself.

My weekend has been very lazy. Jammie days both days. Different set of jammies, though.

Ahhh... fioricet! I had that rx before. I called them my "happy pills" because they made me kind of la-la. Loved 'em. Hope your head's better. I really enjoyed the woodcocks too, but the best part was the company!

The headache didn't go away so I took another pill. I think I'm gonna just go to bed early.

Just so you know, Fioricet is Tylenol-3 plus caffeine. So it probably will help, and it will certainly be more effective on migraines once you are lower on caffeine. But it means you are taking in caffeine, and you should add that to the calculations.

Yeah, the caffeine was one of the reasons I was hoping it would help. The headache isn't getting any better though. :( I think I'm just going to go to bed early since sleep seems to be the only thing that ever helps any of my headaches.
