Yay! I'm going to have 3 published photographs! Yes, only 3, and I'm not getting paid for them, but I will have a photo credit in the book and I get a free copy of it!
So when it's released you all will have to run to the store to buy a copy!

The picture of the blue Indigo Bunting in this icon is one of the ones getting used! Very appropriate since that is one of my first bird pictures and it's the one that got me really interested in photographing birds and trying to identify them!

It's not one of my first works though, just one of my first birds. In the interest of full disclosure, I think I was able to get so close to photograph him because we think he may have hit the window and thus been slightly stunned. Because the camera was about 6 inches from him and he didn't move... He did later fly off though.
