A few random things:
The Police tour will be stopping in Las Vegas.
Plane tickets to Vegas are usually cheap.
We can get a really good deal on resort rooms through our timeshare.

Ok, maybe these things aren't so random.

June 8th, a friday night, the Police will be playing in Vegas. Hubby wants to see them in concert a second time so we are planning a weekend in Sin City.
If any of y'all are interested in joining in, we will be able to get a room/rooms for up to six other people. And a burning desire to go to a Police concert in Vegas is not a requirement.
hellbob & I are still in the throwing ideas around phase, but the tentative idea is to go Thurs, June 7th through Sunday, June 10th. While there I really want to see the Penn & Teller show.

Um, I'm not sure when the Vegas tickets go on sale. I actually won't be going to the concert in Vegas because once in Minneapolis is enough for me. For the Vegas ticket info your best bet is to follow my hellbob's journal...

Whee! I do want to come, but if you have limited space and if your hubby has invited people it is okay if you need me to book a hotel room. I do want to see Vegas and seeing you and Pat again and you two meeting each other would be awesome. Seriously, I can book a hotel room and I would totally share with Pat. She's the best. This will be FUN! :)

We have a time share and we get points and the points we have determine how many/what size rooms we can get. The rooms are more like furnished apartments than hotel rooms. Caoilainn wants to go too! Yay! (and since you know each other we'd have you two room together if that's ok.)
Unfortunately Mr. Riley can't come with you. :(

OK. So, You, me, Lex, Jeanine, Caoilainn & TX_Cronopio. Is Jeanine coming solo or bringing someone (Kurt)? Also, I commented to Lex to ask if it's just her or if James is coming too. Caoilainn & Cronopio have actually met before in real life so it's not a problem to throw them in a room together. I've met Caoilainn and she's got the HellZiggy seal of approval and so by default, so does Cronopio.

And of course, once our rooms are full other people would still be welcome and just need to arrange their own rooms.
