I feel almost downright chipper

I think I have finally slipped out of this months PMS funk. It seemed to last longer than usual, probably because of the distinct lack of sun. I know I was cranky with hellbob much more often than I should have been, but I just couldn't really get in a good mood. But I am in a good mood tonight.

Here are a few of the reasons:

1. Saw many good friends and had many wonderful conversations & laughs this weekend.

2. I am done with my Typography 2 class (with the exception of one simple project that I need to do minor adjustments on before printing it out to turn it in before noon on Monday) and all that is left for my Psych class is the 25 question final next week.

3. I didn't go to work today and I'm not going tomorrow and I'm not going on Thursday.

4. Uber-shopping expedition with cousin, sister, and sister-in-law tomorrow.

5. The holiday cards and holiday letters have started rolling in (Thank you caitirin & elaby, camkin (& Dr. Jones) & kpbkwrm)
Yes, I still have vague plans to send out a HellHoliday card and/or letter. Yes, it is still just a vague plan that has had no work done on it!

7. I have a Lump curled up on my lap right now!

8. There have been a bunch of birds in the backyard the last couple of days including, but not limited to, downy woodpeckers, a mourning dove, white breasted nuthatches, black capped chickadees, and cardinals. Also smallish dark ones that I haven't identified yet but are probably juncos.

You & I probably petted giraffes that were related to each other! The two that were at the MN Zoo this summer were from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. :)

Not too many for me....but I'm talking by company standards......one is an overdose by company standards you know. ;)

The company Holiday pary is today....and I didn't manage to travel into the future to see how it turns out.

i have a favor to ask of you and it has nothing to do with your lj post but i don't have your email so i figure this is an ok way to connect with you.

1. romeo and i want to do a double-date with you guys, maybe a game night?
2. i am helping with the Spring Geek Prom and i was wondering if you would job-share the photographer position with Chris, Windy's husband? you two could take turns and i will find another person to help print out and sell pictures of couples. do you think you would be available for that?

1. Game night sounds fun! We need to coordinate a date. :)
2. The biggest obstacle to doing the photographer thing is that I don't really have any good flashes or lighting set ups since I generally don't shoot people. I can probably make it work though. Is it just a formal portrrait type setting, or is it wandering around and doing candids? We can talk more about it when we get together for the double date. Also, what's the date of the prom?
