Went to urgent care. Rapid strep test was negative. It's not 100% though so the 24 hour one, which oddly enough takes a day to get the results from, may still turn up positive. I don't know yet at this point if I will be going to work tomorrow or not. I was feeling much better today, but the act of simply going to urgent care left me feeling wiped out. And if it does turn out to be strep after all I am still contagious. I guess we'll just see how I feel tomorrow morning.

You go home sick from work, miss a full day, and still feel like crap when you go back and you don't go to the doctor? You do realise that just calls for a joke about Iowans being dumb, right?? LOL
Yeah, even if I don't have strep you should still be tested because there were at least 4 confirmed cases after Omegacon.
I stayed home today because I didn't sleep well last night and I want to get over it as much as possible before the weekend, but I am feeling better.

I'm starting to feel a bit better today. I went to work because if I didn't I wouldn't have been able to visit my brother.....which is where I am now. At least 4 confirmed cases of strep???

I was only at work for 4 hours btw.....I had requested 4 hours of vacation for Friday.
