Those are the shortest giraffes I've ever seen.

Did you climb steps or is the giraffe standing in a trench?

Giraffes do some of their best acting in trenches, you know. I saw a giraffe play Miss St John the Baptist in a trench, and Miss Napoleon Bonaparte in a trench, and Miss Alexander Fleming in a furrow, Miss Galileo in a groove and Mrs Jesus Christ in a geological syncline.

They actually amputate the giraffes legs so they are shorter and so they can't go anywhere.

Their viewing platform for the African animals is on a hill so it's sort of raised and they're sort of in a trench.
