Last week pattiponders said about one of my bird pics "I swear these birds pose for you!"
Today's pics are not going to convince her differently!


No, that's not been cropped in from the original! We were driving home and there was a bald eagle chowing down on some road kill right on the shoulder of the road. So I made hellbob turn the car around. He flew off as we got close but ended up landing in a tree right by the edge of the road so we pulled up slowly and I shot these pics from the window of the car.


This pic is cropped, but only on the sides to turn it from a horzontal to a vertical.



Birds eventually get tired of posing for me!

Thanks! It was really cool cuz he was so close! Didn't have time to change any camera settings though so the shutter speed wasn't as fast as i would have liked...

You could send these shots to Outdoor Life and be all famous! (Or, you know, get a few bucks. 'Cause that would be cool, too.)

I don't know, it just seems that there must be a market (even a little market) for great shots of wild birds.
