The Minnesota Zoo is excited to announce the birth of an endangered snow monkey on April 26, adding one more to our popular exhibit. Although its mother has been keeping it close, the infant will become more visible to you in the coming weeks. The gender of the baby is not yet known. The exhibit's second youngest monkey, "Higgins," was born one year ago and is quite curious about the new addition.
Baby monkey!
It's a baby one of these:
Japanese Macaque (Snow Monkey) Macaca fuscata
