Well, Day 3's picture was originally going to be of ducks, Wood & Mallard.>



but then when I left school last night it was snowing and the Basilica was right there next to the parking ramp, so for day three you get Catholic snow!

It looks like the snow to the left and right of the tower isn't showing the same motion blur that the snow above and below has.

Or am I misinterpreting what I'm seeing?

You're right, it does look like that. It could be that wind was causing snow on the roof to kind of blow back up.
Or, most likely, it's just that the lights from the bell tower affected the way that show showed up because they were shining more directly on it...
