We Tivo'd the Super Bowl and are watching it tonight. With all our Tivoing to avoid watching commercials it just seems wrong to Tivo something and fast-forward through the show to just watch the commercials.
Yeah, not as good as previous years. There was no "OMG, did you see the cat herders?" level of ads. Although I did like the one where the guy used the defibrulater to kill the fly, and I liked the sheep streaker.
I guess I'm a minority- I watched both the show and the commercials. Too bad Bud has such great commercials and such sucky beer.
The overall level of commericals was (were?) good, but like you say, nothing really jumps out as Fan-f-ing-tabulous. The sheep streaker was good, the Ameriquest ones were good (the defibrillator killing the fly), and the FedEx cavemen I liked.
