Zoo Picture Spam!

I spent several hours out at the Minnesota Zoo today with lucky13charm and kafilipi. This was the first time I was actually able to meet kafilipi after several near misses.

Being as much of a zoo & camera geek as me, we spent over an hour on the Northern Trail, most of it with the tigers & the wolves. Lana & Nika were right up by the glass, but it was tough to get good shots because the glass was kind of cloudy. I did get a few good ones though. Here's Nika:

I did manage to get a ton of good wolf pictures though!

WOW that's a close tiger! O.O

No cropping & zooming there, either! Nika really was that close, albeit through some pretty thick glass!
The best part is that even when the weather is below freezing I can just plunk right down on the ground to watch them because the rock is heated! :)
