Mmmm. Porketta

hellbob & I went over to Jeanine's house for dinner tonight. She had porketta and hard rolls from up on the Range, and she also made a fabulous scalloped potato dish. We ate & chatted for a bit and then hellbob got put to work doing all of the husbandly type things she needed done, like plastic insulation on her bedroom windows and furniture repair.

Zoe (her greyhound) has definitely become a true Iron Ranger. Besides potica, which she has been know to steal when you are not looking, she also loooooves porketta. Everytime any of us went into the kitchen to get another helping she was right there with us giving us the big ol' puppy dog eyes.

hellbob & I also came home with two Fraboni's porkettas, a package of Sunrise Brown-N-Serve hard rolls and a potica from Sunrise. Since Jeanine was going up north for Thanksgiving and she still owed us for the INXS concert ticket I had the brilliant idea to ask her to pay us in porketta! Yay!

Now I need to go to bed so I can work tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be feeling ok. I'm still a little snuffly and my face looks flushed although I haven't actually checked to see if I have a fever.

Tomorrow I get to go shopping for a company holiday party dress for Thursday's 'date' with Jeanine. Gotta try and look better than all the other wives! :)
I also get to do my final project for Photoshop class. I just have to take the assignments from the semester and the in class stuff we did and put together another Quicktime movie of them. Pretty straightforward. I just haven't done it yet.
Then after Tuesday's class I am done until the next semester. At that point I will finish getting the Xmas letter labels done and I will print the puppies, and get them mailed before Christmas. Yes, i really will. maybe...
