The pictures from yesterday, and last friday are here:
Pictures!
The good stuff is in the gallery labeled Nature. The other one is miscelaneus pictures that I have put into my journal, and am in the process of readdressing because the previous host would only keep the link active for 3 months. Bleah. Not a top priority at the moment.
These were all taken with my spiffy little Canon G3.

Nice Pics

Thank you. I've been totally loving the instant gratification of the digital! And the ability to immediately destroy any picture of me that I don't like!

I've been considering taking a photography class. Now I'm not sure I should. Don't know if I'd get that good.

You have a great eye for color. Those are gorgeous.

Thank you!
You should take one. They are so much fun!
Most of the classes I've had have been black and white, and color was mostly for vacations, friends, etc. I got the digital in February and I think I've left it at home maybe once. It's so convenient to just take it everywhere with me.

Thank you! I've decided I really need to take my tripod though. I lost a lot of shots because when you are that close, camera shake REALLY shows! :)

I've just found that with my new camera! Sadly can't afford a tripod this month. Will see how I go and may get one next payday...

I have a full size tripod that is just kind of cumbersome to lug around. I also have a cute little itty bitty one that I got for about 10 dollars, so it is really to small to use in most cases because if you try to get the camera at an angle it is just too heavy.
