My friend Jeanine just got her dog last weekend. She is a retired racing Greyhound named Zoe, and she is beautiful, and I love her!


And this is Zoe with her new person, Jeanine:


She's very sweet and mellow and quiet. And apparently she is starting to grasp the pee and poop outside theory!
I want one!

Doesn't have to, Zoe is retired so she is now a 40mph couch potato!

Yesterday, my friend Julie and I took Zoe to an enclosed baseball field. We let her off her chain and got her running by throwing a baseball. At first, she didn't want to run far, then suddenly she took off like a bandit! She ran about 1/2 way around the field and collaped on her belly!! We had to almost drag her home! She then took about a 2 hour nap!

On a fun note - I found all kinds of stuff about racing career on the internet. The last time she raced was Oct 2002. She was in 32 races and ranked 93 in the US out of 250 dogs.
