Based on the current ebay listings, it appears that the tickets got into the hands of the fans rather than scalpers. Of the 20+ cities where there are screening tickets up for sale, there are no Minneapolis ones! Much as I could use $500 or so (tix are going for $50-$75 per pair) I'd much rather recoup just the $9.50 ticket price and enjoy the reactions to the movie of the nine Serenity virgins I have tickets for. frozendragon timed her move to Minneapolis well, because she'll get to see it this time.
I know the odds of Minneapolis being the city to get Joss are slim to none, but there is still a chance... 35 cities, one Joss. Tell me again why cloning is bad?

Is this the someone who bought tickets & then went out of town? Yes, we do have one for her. And also Hellbob apparently also talked to mhuot about two people that you couldn't get tickets for last time?

Yeah, I had asked to claim two for some people who couldn't go the first time, then found that the other person wasn't covered. I will let her know she has one (if you haven't yet). Heh, when I told LAura (my other friend) that I had two tickets for her, she literally screamed, so I guess they're deserving, too.

Here I was all relaxed and magnanimous that I'd not be going to the preview a second time so that another person could attend and help spread the word about Firefly.

Until you mentioned it, it didn't occur to me that I'd be missing out on seeing a second cast member!

So. Have you gotten anyone interesting in going to the movie in September that wouldn't have otherwise without your intervention?

I've gotten at least two co-workers interest piqued. One's a Xena fan, so it wasn't too far of a stretch. But the other was a definite score as she hadn't seen any sci-fi since the orginal Star Wars film.

Actually, with it up to 35 cities now, chances are we won't get any of the stars. If we did it most likely wouldn't be Ron Glass because they would send him somewhere else this time.

Most of the people I've converted have been from having them watch the DVDs.
