10 things I have done that you probably haven't:

1. I represented Minnesota at the International Science Fair (and I may have been the only student attending that wasn't currently taking a science or math class).
2. I owned a comic book store.
3. I won a trip through a contest. Free airfare, hotel, the works.
4. I have gone head first off a 4 story building (on purpose).
5. I have had photos I took published in a book.
6. I have thrown a live hand grenade, and fired a LAW (Light Anti-Tank Weapon), which is the thing Rambo fired out of the helicopter.
7. I have been inside the Tiger Barn at the Minnesota Zoo.
8. I have gotten a ticket for going the wrong way down a one way.
9. I have gone shopping at the L.A. Coroner's Office
10. I have fallen asleep standing up. (and not fallen over)

I was going to also put in that I have petted a lion, but then I remembered that [livejournal.com profile] zerbie has also done this!
Damn, it's hard to think up 10 things...

I have #5 as well. Imagine my surprise looking through Michael Sheard's latest book and seeing a bunch of my pictures.

On another note, your mood icons are not loading at all. Page just hangs waiting for them. Did you put some new ones up?

Yeah, I noticed the mood icon thing earlier. It's actually an issue with the server that I've got them on. My web photo gallery isn't working right now, and neither is [livejournal.com profile] genevra's, and I would bet that [livejournal.com profile] shrique and [livejournal.com profile] dragonsden and [livejournal.com profile] mhuot's aren't working either... We've all gone in together on a mega block of space.
I IM'd [livejournal.com profile] mhuot about it, but I'm guessing that even though AIM says he's available he's actually asleep, what with it being 1 am & all!

Did you know ahead of time that Michael Sheard was gonna use your pictures? That would be way more cool than doing a book through the photo class you're in!

No. I am not credited. He has a whole bunch of pictures from the con, not just mine. Ask to see Cheb and Chris' copy, I bet you might have a photo in there.

Hope your server gets fixed soon, that spinning gear gets annoying.

Plus, if I don't hit the stop loading button I can't reply.

Me too! You think it's annoying on your computer you should try & deal with it on one where all your posts rely on it!

Good point.

What do you think of the music you have downloaded from iTunes? You haven't said.

I really like My Girl Josephine!
The Pompeii one was really driving me nuts with it's familiarness. I couldn't figure out where it was from, so I googled it & found out it was the Spiderman trailer. I like it, but instrumentals are not my friend at work. I need fast music with words to keep my brain from wandering away...
The library has 3 compilation albums that Fairport Convention is on so I put in holds for those so I can check it out.

I figure I outta use all these free songs to expand my musical horizons since [livejournal.com profile] hellbob is continuously mocking my love of country music, Uncle Kracker, Kid Rock, the Gear Daddies, Bon Jovi, etc.

I was part of a #3, once, though I wasn't actually the winner.

The man I was dating at the time won a trip from an automatic entry by using a Visa card. Two anti-bourgeois on a trip to a golf tournament in Dallas, TX...

Mine was a trip to Hollywood.
If you're gonna spend a weekend in Hollywood, you should try to get Paramount Studios to pick up the tab! That trip was the first time I ever saw an ocean, and the pic for this Moose icon was shot there.
It was a answer these trivia questions & if you get them right you'll be put in a drawing kind of thing. You know, the contests that no one ever really wins. :)

I love L.A.

Oooh - Sweet!

I've been there, but it was not at the expense of Paramount Studios.
At Paramount, I took the "backlot" tour, and saw several streets from Star Trek episodes.

Hollywood - and all of it's faboulos touristy stuff is definitely a fun city!

Mooooose!

Well, I got pulled over for #8, but did not get a ticket. It was in FRONT of the St. Paul police station as well (grin).

As Genevra pointed out, it was on the street I lived on. I knew I'd be getting the ticket as soon as the cop asked what my local address was. He didn't say anything about the fact that I had a Minnesota Driver's License & North Dakota plates on the car though.
Luckily, at the time the ticket only ran $35 in Fargo. That's less than a frickin' Minneapolis parking ticket these days (er, um, I've heard...)
