I just love that he was this devilish little trouble maker that was incredibly smart & funny. My favorite group is the snowmen (yeah, I know, that's kind of like saying your favorite Star Trek is the tribbles...) but I also really loved one where Calvin & Hobbs were sitting out under the stars and Calvin was asking Hobbs if he believed in Fate & Destiny & the last panel was Calvin saying something about how he believes in destiny because then no matter what he does it's not his fault. Of course it was all much better written & funnier than I just put it....
