Does anyone want a free copy of the Family Tree Maker program, version 9? This isn't the newest version, but I've got a pile of 'em here & they're free.

zerbie, what program did you settle on for the Mac? Do you know if a Family Tree Maker .ftw file can be imported into it?

I'd love to help you out, however I don't really have a spare copy of the program, the one that I do have is already registered. Are looking for downloadablity or a prermant copy for yourself?

I don't need the program. I've got a pile of them to give away. :) I got them at work. And it's not useful to me since I live in the Mac world now instead of the PC one.

I settled on GEDitCOM (http://www.geditcom.com/). I have no idea if it can read .ftw files, but the web site should tell you. I rather like it -- it's really versatile, and even makes kickass websites.
