lucky13charm, I figured out what the other snakes are: Red-bellied Snake, Northern subspecies
There were a couple in the rocks on my way out & I didn't see their heads, but I did see that they have bright red bellies.

One little snake today.....on my way to get some tea and soup....up in the rocks.....it slithered away quite quickly though. :(
