Why do I love my job today? Cuz we have a customer whose wife just dropped off slides to be scanned. The customer who shot the slides? Jim-Freakin'-Brandenburg!!! My absolute favorite nature photographer!!! I am so fan-girling right now!!!!

Wow, that's so awesome! I have given my mother Brandenburg books and framed prints for gifts... he's really a terrific photographer. My Mom's met him, and says he's a nice guy, too.

The guy with the wolf picture! Okay I know he did more, but that is the one I think of, because it was on the cover of his book, was it not? Anyhoo, very cool. I'm glad you get to be fangirly.

It kind of reminds me about the time my parents had drinks with Matthew Fox. (I don't know how to do that cool linky thing, you would just have to go look him up) I love his books, and I was just gahhhhhing that they got to meet him and then sat in a bar with him and friends and discussed religion!
