That's just it. Ethically I don't think I could fight the ticket knowing that yes, I was actually speeding. But I also don't want to spend $140! I remember what a pain in the ass it was trying to get two parking tickets thrown out, and the traffic hearing officer was going to make me pay them anyway even though I had a police report proving that the car was stolen when the tickets were incurred. I can't imagine this being less of a hassle.
