My first painting

When I said I was taking a painting class, [livejournal.com profile] freyjakj asked when I was going to start posting some of my paintings.
Well, we finally did a painting that wasn't just a color theory study, so here it is!

I love how the yellow shard things are kind of drawn toward both, er, vortexes, is what I want to call them.

Y'know, if you added a running figure or an abstract representation of somone cowering in fear, that could be a 1960's Scifi paperback cover.
