A couple nights ago at dinner, my friend mentioned the apocalypse and I corrected her, saying "zombie apocalypse". I then went on to explain, even though she is a Normal and somewhat skeptical of Computer People (not to mention Goths, Freaks, Geeks, Nerds, and even Artists) about my group of friends who not only manage to reference the zombie apocalypse in just about any casual conversation, but who can also explain in detail their plans for escape, shelter, defense and strategy in the event of one.
To my sincere astonishment, she thought it was great. "I love anything involving zombies!"
