Aug. 5th, 2007 10:22 pmI got a call Friday evening from the lovely LJ-less Nissa, asking if I was interested in going to a play at the Guthrie with her, as the also lovely & LJ-less Darek was sick.
We went to the play 1776 which I knew nothing about. It turned out to be really good. It was a comedy and musical about the writing and signing of the Declaration of Independence.
One of the gorgeous features of the new Guthrie building is the Endless Bridge. It has a beautiful view of the river. It was also pretty crowded Friday because you could also see some of the 35W bridge wreckage.

Even the video footage - it just falls down. One part doesn't go down first and pull the other side, the whole thing just goes *poof*.
