Ah, but then you are probably also using the word "house", right? As in The Snyder's House. What spawned my PSA was a card from Rick's cousin. It was a photo card and the type on the side said: The Smith's John, Jane, Mike & Bob (Names changed to protect the apostrophe ignorant) And it just reminded me of the Christmas seasons when I worked at a photo lab and would have to try to convince people that they were wrong and did not want an apostrophe in there.
