Nope, no foreign animals at all. Except for like some rabbits or something. We actually don't have a proper zoo, more of a barnyard petting zoo. You know, horses and cows and sheep and poultry, then seals and fish and also some reindeer and foxes and such. The most exotic animal there is probably a stork that accidentally flew over and messed up its wing so it stayed there over the winter.
It's all because of the quarantine laws. Like you can't bring in any horses because the Icelandic horse is too sensitive to foreign diseases and one bug might wipe the whole country clean of them. It's not a big country, you know.
They have brought in a reptile/creepy-crawlies show a few times. Not sure why that was ok.
