Yay for coming to play in LA! :) Timing is fine, I'm happy to have the two of you here. One thing to remember is Wednesday night is probably when my local group is having Full Moon. Maybe Thursday the 7th, but probably Wedn.
As far as airports go, flying into LAX is annoying but can be done. It's just big. I usually do try to connect through Oxnard, in part because going through Security on the way out will be so much less annoying than at LAX. You've been to Burbank airport, which is also an option. Again, security is less annoying at the smaller airport. Let me know. Oxnard airport is about 20 minutes drive from here, LAX about an hour and some depending on traffic.
