I'm guessing that I'll get there through a political route: Gabriel Garcia Marquez' good friend Maruja Pachon de Villamizar was kidnapped by drug kingpin Pablo Escobar in 1990. If I figure out how to get from Escobar to Ronald Reagan then I've got it because my Uncle Roddy knew Reagan. so I've got to get from Escobar to Reagan (or Carter or Nixon) in two steps and I've got it!
