hellziggyI've spent most of the afternoon and evening working on an illustration for my Layout & Design class.
We were given a choice of three different articles and we had to pick one and put together a 2 page spread integrating illustration and type.
All I can say is thank god Illustrator has a template feature so you can put a photo under your document so you can have a guide for your lines. Yes, I basically traced it.
At least to get the basic structure I did. After getting the basic shapes I saved it and opened it in photoshop instead to finish it up.
Ugh. Glad I'm done with that.
Now I just have until Thursday to get all the text arranged around the picture. It's a bit of a change from last semester when class wasn't really a challenge at all!
