The Hero of Canton will be at the Canadian Expo too!
They just added Adam Baldwin to the guest list.

Does anyone else want to drive to Toronto with me, hellbob and lucky13charm? Leaving the evening of Thursday, Aug 25th. Coming back Sunday afternoon/evening. It's a 14 hour drive. The more the merrier!

lucky13charm & I both have serious cases of James Marsters lust fueled by the Buffy & Angel DVDs. We've also got his new solo CD. He only has two concerts scheduled in North America currently (and just did one in Detroit), one in Sacramento in July & one in Toronto at the Expo in August. The Toronto appearance is part of a huge convention. It is Comic Books, Sci Fi, Horror, Anime and Gaming.
Some of this year's guests are Elijah Wood, James Marsters, Kevin Sorbo, Marinia Sirtis, Margot Kidder, Adam Baldwin, Crispin Glover, J. Michael Straczynski, & Clive Barker. There are also a ton of comic artists & writers like Neil Adams.
The expo itself is only $30.
We haven't figured out yet where to stay, and technically I don't have the day off work, but if I can't get it I'm calling in sick.
Michelle & I are planning on spending extra money to see James in concert, but we really don't expect that anyone else will want to.

Actually this road trip plan was just hatched last Wednesday as L13C & I were bemoaning our adultness & responsibleness at not calling in sick Thurs & driving to Detroit to see him (also, Rick saying no to the plan) so we looked at his other concert gigs & the Canadian Expo looks pretty cool in & of itself without the Marsters benefit.

So anyway, we haven't gotten as far as looking at possible accomodations yet. She got the vacation days off because she's down in a different department, but it's looking like I'll have to keep the trip on the qt here at work since I will be "sick" for sure on Friday.
