For some odd reason, when I was starting my work-up for transplant, I was thinking I was B-! (I was thinking of my dad's for some reason, I guess.) Talk about a brain fart.
Thankfully, my actual blood-type is a match for the first person to offer me a kidney.
Did you know that when giving or receiving organs, the positive and negative markers don't matter? My donor is A+, and it's not a problem. Yay!
