I hates the Oscars, hates them hates them I do. But, because I am hypnotized by their shinyness, I watch each year.
Unfortunately, they end up going beyond a reasonable bedtime for me (and more importantly a reasonable bedtime for Squeaky), so we've just unintentionally started a tradition of watching at my house with my mom each year.
The party sounds like lots of fun, sorry I can't make it.
