hellziggyI've been totally digging Richard Buckner lately. You can download one of his songs for free at the Volkswagon site. His song Ariel Ramirez is the one in the current Volkswagon commercial. The one for the Touareg that has the guy with the camera taking all the pictures.
I actually heard his stuff at CSFF in the movie Sinkhole, and the director told me who it was, so I went to iTunes & picked up his 1998 album, Since. Then tonight when the VW commercial was on & I heard the music I was like "Hey! I recognize that song!"
