Those are some stunning photos. I really like the leaves in the water one, but they're all nifty.

Some very nice pictures. Good quality. What city is that? Also, how do I put picture into my LJ via a cut like you just did?

Damn. Now you have two pictures you need to print 8x10's for me! I need the leaves on the water to go with the seashell in the water.

Eek! There is someone lurking here! :)
The city is Minneapolis. Good ol' home sweet home.
Putting the photos in the LJ cut works the same as text. You just put the code for the image in a cut. Or, my prefered method, you get your post ready in iJournal, then hightlight the stuff to put behind the cut and hit Cmd-K. LJ Clients are my friend!

What is the code? A HTML tag?
Yup. Your image has to be on a remote server that allows direct linking. This was the code I used (although with the [ & ] replaced w/ < & >, of course.

What are these? :)

They are programs you can use to compose your posts instead of the Live Journal update page. The wonderful thing is that they will automatically do your html for things like cuts, pictures, usernames, etc. iJournal is a Mac one. If you are using an inferior machine PC, the one I like is called Semagic. I found them through the LJ FAQ.

If you already have your own webspace you can put your pictures on there, or you can get an account somewhere at a picture hosting service. Many of them are free. Look for something like yahoo pictures (I don't know if yahoo's image hosting is free). You should be able to google search for image hosting.
Also, check with your ISP. Many of them include a bit of web space along with the email & such.
Or you go in with a bunch of friends to buy a buttload of server space and you all have pretty much unlimited room to put stuff & then you register your domain name & register it with a domain name server and you can have your own personal online photo gallery. *grin* This plan works best when you & your husband hang with a bunch of geeks! :)
