Well, that's just a fascinating story! (not really)
A few years ago, someone gave me "Robbinsdale - A pictorial History 1893-1993" even though I didn't buy my house until 1995 (shhh! If anyone finds out, they might take the book away!). That book contains very brief explanations with the pictures. Even more detailed explanations are in Robbinsdale - Then and Now. It was just sitting on the shelf! I'm truly amazed that it wasn't reserved out for years to come.
I also got Salem's Lot by Stephen King, I read it once about twenty years ago and made an attempt to re-read it about a month ago and only got halfway through before I was distracted by other books. I shall persevere. Aren't you glad you asked?
