Not just snow falls from the sky

Well, we didn't get the predicted pile of snow Thursday night/Friday morning. But we did have something else fall out of the sky onto our lawn:

EEEK! At least it didn't fall on the house! Did you have any other storm damage? You guys sure have been getting hammered with severe weather this year. Crazy!

About 4 years ago, we had a 60' tall pine tree fall RIGHT next to the house...I mean we're talking INCHES. The branches scraped the side of the house as it came down. If it had been maybe 6-10" closer, it would have wiped out the master bathroom.

There was rain turning to snow but I think it was mostly just really strong wind.

I know! Luckily the wind was going almost straight north-south. We didn't really have much snow/ice, it was just a lot of wind.

We've been getting some high winds here, too. One of the window shutters was torn off, and a few more branches fell into the yard. None as big as yours, though.
