Spring!

It was sooooo gorgeous out today!
When I got home from work our friend was in the driveway taking apart his car door with hellbob's help. Apparently the power window stopped working when it was 2/3 open.
While they worked on the car I attempted a plant rescue. There are some plants that every single year attemp to grow. Unfortunately they try to grow right where our garbage cans sit, so they never make it very far. I don't even know what they are. I'm guessing irises, but I'm not sure what the other ones are. I dug them up and planted them in a different area so we'll see if they actually live & grow. If not, it's not like they're any worse off than they were!

Then, as long as I was playing in the dirt anyway I grabbed my camera and shot some closeups of the tulips I've got sprouting, and the little friend I found while digging.

ahhhhh.... this one. Is it weird that I actually get a physical rush of pleasure when I add a new icon? And it's greater when the icon is a photo from someone I know.

As I was typing my earlier request, the earthworm picture was visible on my fairly large computer monitor and one of my co-workers was quite startled to come around the corner and see it.

"Startled" is the calmer, more reasonable word for her response.
