I am home sick today. bleh.
notmonochrome had the best description of it. The back of my throat feels like it is covered in movie theater floor scum. But then you have to add a layer of pain on top of that. And earlier my voice wasn't so much a voice as it was a croak. Let's all just cross our fingers that this goes away as fast as it hit. Tuesday I was perfectly healthy. Wednesday I had a bit of a sore throat. Today I woke up feeling like hell. So, if it goes away just as fast I'll be healthy by Saturday. Which would be good because the Alan Jackson/Martina McBride concert in on Saturday. It will be my cousin's little girl Sierra's first country concert!

Ok, back to being a couch potato!

that sounds quite like strep. if it keeps hurting more and more, get yourself to a doctor...

Luckily it is most likely not strep. I haven't had a fever at all, and the "Oh my god I'm gonna die" headache that attacked briefly was most likely due to a complete lack of caffeine in the house.

The sore throat is almost better too!
