Pretty boys? or relaxacon?

Creation Entertainment is trying to lure me away from Omegacon!
There is a Chicago con that same weekend and they only have 3 guests listed so far, but two of them are Jared Padalecki and Nicholas Brendon!!
Moose would really love to meet both of them!! *grin* And I've got to do what the Moose wants, right?

Honestly, if it was any other weekend than the one that conflicts with OmegaCon the addition of Nick would have been enough to convince me already!
If I don't end up picking the pretty boys over a weekend of hot tubs, games, lounging in pajamas and general all around geeky relaxing then we will have to plan a Chicago weekend for some other fall weekend!

The real solution to this, of course, is to convince Jared Padalecki and Nicholas Brendon that they'd really rather attend Omegacon than a Creation con.

That is indeed a wonderous solution! Of course, they are probably getting more money for CreationCon than I could afford to pay to get them to OmegaCon instead. :(
But a relaxacon weekend with those two pretty boys? That would kick some serious ass!

Nicholas Brendon was at Dragon*Con last year and I got to be in close proximity to him. He seems really nice in person! However, I'm not a fangirl of his, so I didn't tackle him in the hall like a couple of women looked like they wanted to do. He looks lots different with his glasses on, which is what he looked like when I saw him. Thick glasses too!
Have fun deciding! I love going to Cons!

I really really really really want to go to D*C this year, but my stint of unemployment has made the tiny hope of that happening completely disappear. :(
I wanted to go anyway because of all the cool podcasters I listen to who are going, but then they went and added James Marsters as a guest!!! *sigh* I love me some James.
I'm not a super huge fangirl for Nick, but I'd love to meet him at least once. Plus, a Chicago con doesn't require paying for airfare!

Well, think of it like this........I trust Nick to be there. I'm not trusting Jared to be.......the boy has canceled more appearances than he's made here lately. He canceled Comic Con due to filming and missing the plane, supposedly for one. I'm wondering if he will do the same come Nov......Vancouver to Chicago......filming Friday night could be late. I find it interesting they haven't even started selling tickets yet. My gut is telling me this show has a chance to be canceled. But then it could be the sloppy joe coming back to haunt me too, LOL
