BOOM!

LOL! I'm at work and I just set up a new member in the system:
The Society of Explosive Engineers.
I'm sure they are engineers who rig explosions & demolitions and such but I just can't get the image out of my head of a bunch of engineers doing engineer stuff with their slide rules and pocket protectors and different ones just keep randomly exploding while the others go about their work.
*giggle*

I once had the job title of "Customer Engineer." When asked what I did (which was tier 2 data services tech support) I answered, "I make better customers."

=)

That's funny!

And oddly enough, I know someone who belongs to that society (at least he did 10 years ago)...he does, indeed, blow up stuff (as a contractor for the Navy). But as far as I know, he's never blown himself up. A couple of close calls during recreational explosive play, yes, but never professionally ;)

I'm in a group called the Committee of Large Urban Epidemiologists.

That's funny! I think it would be fun to have a job where they pay you to blow things up.
